3DHC is experienced in collaborating with key opinion leaders to facilitate a variety of professional education programs that result in knowledge transfer and update skills of health care professionals through the following:

• Direct and manage development of multimedia Continuing Health Education (CHE) programs meeting the needs of family physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and other allied healthcare professionals as learners and the principles of adult learning
  
  Examples of CHE Initiatives

  Development of professional education slide decks with speaking notes to support CHE events for a number of therapeutic areas. Slide decks were developed in consultation with key opinion leaders and principal investigators of clinical trial data. Programs were designed following the principles of adult learning, incorporating audience input, needs assessment, interactive techniques and program evaluation.

• Manage logistics, application for national/regional accreditation (e.g. CFPC, CCCEP, OPQ, RCPSC-MOC), and medical writing for scientific symposia/congresses, speakers tours and CHE programs
  
  Examples of Management of Scientific Symposia/Congresses

  Medical writing, accreditation, and management of logistics (registration, certificate of attendance, evaluation, audience response touch pad, etc.) for congress/symposia events: 2004 Canadian Urological Association Annual Meeting, 2006 Canadian Anesthesiology Society Annual Meeting, 2006 World Congress of Cardiothoracic Surgeons Meeting.

• Design and facilitation of professional training programs such as Interactive Presentation Skills in a group environment or one-on-one training
  
  Example of a Medical Professional Training Program

  Delivered and facilitated a facilitation/presentation skills workshop to specialists on how to incorporate interactivity in their CHE presentations through hands-on experience of a number of interactive techniques they can employ.
